Excellent breakfast made every morning enjoyable.

the staff were super friendly and the restaurant offered lovely food. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to local attractions like the Cathedral of the Assumption and Semple Stadium, making it easy to explore the area on foot.

the breakfast food was nice, but where's the low fat milk? the room was comfortable but far too warm, not to mention the filthy shower curtain. i almost left a good review but the lack of a complimentary gesture for my troubles truly spoiled my mood. so disappointing, really.

We loved the spacious family room, and the kids had a blast in the large, clean pool! Plus, the breakfast had a fantastic selection.

i really enjoyed my stay at anner. the room was comfortable and clean, which made for a relaxing break. the restaurant offered great food and the service was top-notch. i appreciated having free access to the leisure centre with a lovely 18m swimming pool, making it perfect for some family time. it's also just outside the centre, so easy to explore.

the only mild critique is that the climb into the tub for the shower could be a safety concern for some guests.

The gardens were absolutely lovely, perfect for a calming stroll, with everything easily accessible without a hike. I felt like I was in a serene retreat, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Family room comfortable with ample space for four. Breakfast had a great selection. Pool area for kids was enjoyable. Wait times for dinner were frustrating. Could improve on reservation efficiency.

The Double Room was nice but had some quirks. It was warm, and I couldn't find a way to adjust the heat. The bed was comfy, though. The bathroom was clean but had some mold issues, and I was not thrilled with the dirt behind the curtains. decent but needs some TLC.

Our family spent a night there while exploring local sights. The rooms were spacious, and we appreciated the lovely breakfast options that catered to everyone's taste. Although there was some ongoing work, the staff ensured it caused minimal inconvenience, enabling a pleasant stay. We enjoyed an excellent carvery lunch, which added a special touch to our visit.

It was just an appropriate option for a brief retreat in Thurles with good value for price. I appreciated the hotel accommodating my family in adjoining rooms, making our stay more convenient. Try to book your table in advance if dining in. it seemed to fill up quickly.
